Certification: This course is POST certified in the states of Mississippi and Georgia and accepted for certification in other states.

Description: This three (3) day course introduces the student officers to contemporary gangs beyond normal basic street gang intelligence. The course has been developed as an understanding and investigation training program on contemporary gangs and related issues. This course is useful for entry level to supervisory and command level officers from all assignments. It is especially useful and enlightening to narcotics Officers. This course is designed for presentation in a workshop environment.

This course exposes Eastern European Based Organized Crime, Domestic Extremist Groups (Hate Groups, White supremacists, Separatists, Animal Rights, Militias, Environmental Extremists, and Anti-Government Groups) and advanced levels of national street gangs and teaches interdiction and investigation techniques along with safety issues when dealing with such gangs.

Topics of discussion will include: Militia movements; Sovereignty movement; Patriot Organizations; Historical movements; Nation of Islam; Moorish Nation; Washitaw Nation; Religious Extremists; The Occult and Satanism; Weapons of Terror.
