Designed For: This course is designed for police professionals choosing to enhance their ability to gain information in the interview and interrogation process to include the patrol officer with minimal experience to the most seasoned police investigator who will gain insight into information gathering.

Prerequisites: The individual attending must be committed to examining themselves and others to find clues that may be utilized to realize the highest levels of human interaction in an arena of respect and dignity.

Certification: This course is POST certified in the states of Mississippi and Georgia and accepted for certification in other states.

Description:This five(5)day course provides the police professional with:

  • Knowledge and skills to understand the concepts of personality assessment and evaluation
  • How to recognize and overcome personal bias influences
  • How to utilize a systematic approach to gathering data and information in the interview and interrogation process
  • How to formulate and evaluate questions in achieving the goal of discovering the truth while conducting investigations in a wide variety of violations
  • Evaluation and utilization of verbal signals of deception
  • Awareness of theme building and application based on emotional and psychological needs
  • Understanding body language and how it may be used to determine deception in other and by the investigator for rapport building
  • The use of conscious and subconscious rapport building and how to determine truth and veracity of individual statement and actions through the observation and evaluation of cues leaked by the subconscious mind
  • This course is presented with ethics and the respect for human dignity as the guiding principle in the ethical, moral and legal application of techniques designed to maximize gathering data while insuring the constitutional and civil rights of all people.
