Physical Surveillance School

Length : 5 days

Designed For : This course is designed for officers, investigators, and agents who have the responsibility of following and keeping track of people, locations, and vehicles involved in narcotics trafficking without being detected.

Prerequisites : None.

Certification : This course is POST certified in the states of Mississippi and Georgia and accepted for certification in other states.

Description : The object of this course is to train the participant on the methods, purposes, and planning factors of surveillance operations in support of drug investigations.

.Objectives of planning a surveillance operation

The course consists of various surveillance practical's (day and night), and the use of electronic equipment in tracking suspects.

Participants are encouraged to bring personal surveillance equipment (binoculars, pocket tape recorders, etc.) and must bring suitable clothing for use during indoor/outdoor situations, day or nighttime practical's and inclement weather.
