Spanish for Narcotics Officers and Uniformed Patrol: Phase II

Meet The Instructors

Length: 4 days

Designed For: This course is designed for uniformed patrol and narcotics officers who encounter illegal narcotics where their subject(s) speak Spanish.

Prerequisites: RCTA's Survival Spanish for Uniformed Interdiction course or completed at least two years of high school or college Spanish within the past five to seven years. Proof of completion of one of the above criteria must be provided with the application for attendance.

Certification: This course is POST certified in the states of Mississippi and Georgia and accepted for certification in other states.

Description: This four (4) day intensive course is designed to equip law enforcement officers with the ability to interview Spanish-speaking individual in Spanish.

Special emphasis is placed on obtaining such data as:

•  Date and time of an event

•  Name

•  Age

•  Birth date

•  Address

•  Telephone number

•  Identification

•  Location of a person/drugs/weapons/needles

•  Students will engage in role-playing simulations
